Welcome to my blog, “pastor on the loose!”

I’m going to be a “pastor on the loose” this summer on my sabbatical, and this blog is a way to share my discoveries, experiences, reflections, and interviews while I am running hither and yon from the end of May until mid-August 2009.  The focus of my sabbatical time is the issue of “Passing on the Faith,” with a special emphasis on Male Spirituality and young adult ministry.  There will also be some fishing, painting, BBQing, worshipping at a variety of churches, time with family and friends, and a whole lot of reading.  Thanks for checking things out and joining me on this journey.
